Anastasia Beverly Hills GLOW KIT

Finally got my hands on these!

Oh Anastasia, you can do no wrong.

 The Glow Kit is a new product from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line containing four metallic powders.  There are two kits available depending on the type of tone you prefer: That Glow (warm) and Gleam (cool). The powders are multipurpose and can be used on the face, eyes or body.

I used Gleam palette in this picture because it works better on normal to fair skin tone.

 The texture of the powders are not as soft or buttery as some of the other popular highlighters on the market, but these powders still apply beautifully.  I applied about two layers to get it to my desired intensity and for even more pop, the powders can be applied wet. 

It made me look like I was glowing from the inside. So, totally loved it!

What is Airbrush makeup?

Airbrush makeup is makeup sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush instead of being applied with sponges, brushes, fingers, or other methods. An airbrush is characterized by 3 major parts. A powered compressor is used to create an even and controllable airflow through a medical grade hose. The hose connects to a metal, trigger-actioned gun. An airbrush system can be altered to suit every type of makeup application by changing the PSI (Per Square Inch) level for lighter, heavier, detailed or broader makeups. It is popular in Film Theater, bridal makeup and sunless tanning.

Let’s add some drama to a fishtail !!

 Braids are very in right now, and so are fishtails! A fishtail is just a different kind of braid only using two strands instead of three. The final result resembles an actual fish tail . . . which is where it got its name. We love the look of fishtail braids! This trend is incredibly easy to style, even on your own hair. But sticking on a regular fishtail is kind of boring these days, So let’s add some drama into a fish tail ! 

  



Start by sectioning your hair into ear to ear parting from the front and divide back section into two (this is instead of three sections, like you would for a regular braid).

Next, hold both sections in one hand, separated by your pointer finger, and use your other hand to grab a small piece of hair from the outside of one section.

Pull the strand over to the other half, and then take a piece from the outside of that section and braid the opposite way. Keep braiding until you've just about reached the ends and finish it with an elastic.It's even better if it's messy, so pull out some strands and stretch out the braid for an intentionally undone look. At last create some volume by backcombing your hair from the front and style it using you fingers. 

Finally, secure it with bobby pins and make it as messy as you can.

A HINT OF AQUA

Go bold, or go home. If you’re going to try a smokey eye, put down that black shadow, and take a look at this Aqua Smokey eyes. While the thought of using a bright colored lipstick, may make your hands quiver more than when you apply eyeliner, it is worth switching up that tried-and-true neutral Smokey eye from time-to-time. A bit of color isn’t that scary, I promise. And unlike sooty black, bright colors don’t make it look like you have two black eyes, when you overdo the shading.


1. Start with a flawless skin-Prep-up your skin using a primer, Apply concealer to hide dark circles/spots and end up using a foundation one tone lighter than your skin tone

2. You have the option of applying blush or bronzer to add dimension to your face. Remember to apply both lightly, for the most natural look.

3. Make sure your eyebrows are well-shaped and colored, as the smoky eye will draw attention to them.

4. Apply highlighter on the inner corner of your eyes, then apply Aqua blue/green eye shadow, making a crease with brown color, blend your shadow properly using a blending brush.

PRO TIP

- Apply a hint of pearl glitter in the center of eyes to add some drama to the look.

- Pair up this look with peachy lips and voluminous curls.

STEAL THE SHOW WITH THE PERFECT SMOKEY EYE

One of my all time favorite makeup looks besides the winged eyes is the Smokey eye. Pair a bold and beautiful Smokey eye with nude lips and well groomed brows, and you are ready to steal a show. It’s nothing in the world that can beat a big black smudge!

HOW TO GET THE SMOKEY EYE LOOK

·      The Glowing Face   
     Prep-up the skin using a primer according to your skin type. Then use a concealer to mask up your dark circles and acne marks. Apply a matte foundation using a brush, Bring warmth to your face by contouring and a hint of pink blush on the apple of your cheeks.

·       The Bold Eyes
         First apply black eye shadow in the inner section of an eye using an eye shadow brush and apply brown eye shadow making a crease line. Blend it properly to create a natural look, then apply bold liner and finish the look by two coats of mascara.

                                                                    

  ·       The Nude Lips

The perfect lip color to complete your ultimate Smokey look is Kylie Jenner’s signature brown lip color. Leave it matte or glossy that is your choice.

·       Groomed Brows
 If you like thick eyebrows, fill them in using an eyebrow pencil in the shade of your eyebrows. Start by rawing a shape first and then blend it properly.

Constantly innovating, I  go with and beyond trends and techniques to offer each client something unique and special — which is why I offer Personal Grooming Course . I love to teach and often conducts makeup workshops that run to full capacity. 

I was always passionate about makeup and hairstyling so I started working as a makeup artist and hairstylist in my  mother's salon at a very young age. In my  seventeen's I completed Professional cosmetology course from Cleopatra spa and wellness academy, internship as well .
